Huons BioPharma Received Award for ‘2025 Excellent Employment’ in Chungcheongbuk-do

Huons BioPharma (CEO Kim Yeong-mok) announced on November 5 that it was selected as a ‘2025 Excellent Employment Company of Chungcheongbuk-do’ at the 19th Business Leaders Day in Chungcheongbuk-do held on November 4.

Chungcheongbuk-do annually selects outstanding companies that contribute to job creation and employment stability within the province, awarding them certificates and plaques in recognition of their achievements.

Huons BioPharma is a competitive player in the botulinum toxin business, with products named LIZTOX domestically and HUTOX for export. Since expanding its third factory last year within Jecheon Bio Valley, the company has been steadily contributing to regional employment and job creation.

The Chungcheongbuk-do’s Excellent Employment Program selects companies that have been in operation for at least two years, initially screening them based on employment growth rate and employment stability. A comprehensive review follows, considering corporate governance, employment growth, and the creation of employment welfare and working conditions. Selected companies receive certification plaques and incentives for employee welfare expenses. Additional benefits include export credit guarantees and export insurance discounts, bonus points for participation in overseas export marketing projects, and a three-year suspension of local tax audits.
